Uses Google docs API (and may be other services in future) to open links with PDF, DOC, DOCX, XLS, PPT, RTF, ODT, ODS, ODP, CSV and many other file types online in the browser itself without need for any third party software installed on your computer. Cannot get it to work on the uspto.gov website to view the ttf patent images after installing and closing and restarting firefox and reloading the page by going backwards and then forwards to image. 64 bit windows 7 8 core
ReplyDeleteThanks for this addon! I've recently come across link to .PDF files, with capitalized PDF extensions rather thal lowercase .pdf which have not bee detected by your tool. Could you double check if such links work OK and possibly effect an update if there is a problem? Thanks.

excellent extension, been enjoying it for a while. Unfortunately, current version uses a URL for the in-page icon, which does not exist, specifically: chrome-extension://gmpljdlgcdkljlppaekciacdmdlhfeon/images/beside-link-icon.png

DeleteI've have had this issue for so long, so many of OS X firefox users can't read pdf's, I find my self either download a pdf to view or switching to safari to view it. This solved my issue while using firefox on OS X, nice work keep this going!!!
